About the Encuentro Latinoamericano de Diseño 2012

Dates:

July Tuesday the 31st to August Friday the 3rd, 2012.

Schedules:

On Tuesday 31: The activities are carried out between 10 am and 9 pm at Palais Rouge (Salguero 1443).
On Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2: The activities are carried out between 10 am and 9 pm at Mario Bravo 1050, Jean Jaurès 933  and Cabrera 3641.
On Friday 3: The activities are carried out between 10 am and 3 pm at Palais Rouge (Salguero
1443).

Cost:

None. The event is free.

Registration:

Only through the registration formon the web (until Friday June the 22nd, 2012).

Activities during the Meeting:

Over 350 free activities (workshops, laboratories, conferences) issued by leading design professionals from Latin
America.

Professional-academic areas on which activities are given:

Textile and Fashion Design / Graphic Design / Industrial Design / Interior Design / Landscape Design / Design of Image and Sound / Communication Studies / Advertising Design / Entertainment Design / Photography / Comics Design / Information Design / Others.

Certificates of attendance:

Diplomas are delivered to the attendees on the last day of the meeting -Friday August the 3rd, 2012 -. The 2012 meeting credential must be presented to request certificate

Financial support for attending the meeting:

The Encuentro Latinoamericano de Diseño has more than 400 speakers and 6000 attendees from all over Latin America. As a totally free event, it is impossible for the University of Palermo to afford the costs of transportation and accommodation of all participants. Many speakers and participants seek for financial support at the institutions where they work and / or study.

Foro de Escuelas de Diseño:

As part of the Encuentro, will be held the fifth Plenary of Schools of Design Forum, which joins more than 350 educational institutions who gather to reflect on the present and the future of design education in Latin America.

Tourist information:
